Tu maang le kisi se udhaar Eideen
جو لوگ گزرتے ہیں مسلسل راہِ دل سے
دن عید کا مبارک ہو ان کو تہہ دل سے
Jo log guzarte hain musalsal raah-e-dil se
Din Eid ka mubarak ho un ko teh dil se
جن راہوں سے تم گزرو
ان راہوں کو بھی عید مبارک

جن کے بغیر شام تک نہ گزرتی تھی

Eid is a celebration of joy and yet it makes us remember those around and those distant. شہر بھر میں چاند رات کی رونق ہے
ایک میرا دل ہے کہ تیری بنا اداس بیٹھا ہے
Shehar bhar mein chaand raat ki raunaq hai
Ek mera dil hai ke teri bina udaas baitha hai
یادوں کی کتابوں کو سامنے رکھ کر
میری عیدیں بند کمرے میں گزر جاتی ہیں
Yaadon ki kitabon ko samne rakh kar
Meri Eideen band kamre mein guzar jaati hain
ہر عید پچھلی عید کی طرح نہیں ہوتی
کچھ لوگ نہیں رہتے، کچھ اپنے نہیں رہتے
Har Eid pichhli Eid ki tarah nahi hoti
Kuch log nahi rehte, kuch apne nahi rehte
آنکھ تم کو ہی جب نہ پائے گی
عید کیسے منائی جائے گی
Aankh tum ko hi jab na paaye gi
Eid kaise manai jaaye gi
حالانکہ بہت خاص ہوتی ہیں
مگر عیدیں اداس ہوتی ہیں
Haalankan bohot khaas hoti hain
Magar Eideen udaas hoti hain
ہر اک درد کی شدت چھپائی جائے گی
عید تو عید ہے، آخر منائی جائے گی
Har ek dard ki shiddat chhupai jaaye gi
Eid to Eid hai, aakhir manai jaaye gi
کبھی عید مناتے تھے
اب عید گزارتے ہیں

کل عید کا دن ہم کو بہت رُلائے گا

اے عید کچھ وقت کے لیے طویل ہو جا
میرا ہمسفر ابھی تک گھر نہیں آیا
Ae Eid kuch waqt ke liye taweel ho ja
Mera humsafar abhi tak ghar nahi aaya
روزوں نے دھو دیا جو میل تھا دل پر
عیدِ فطر آئی، نئی روح لے کر
Rozo ne dho diya jo mail tha dil par
Eid-e-Fitr aayi, nai rooh le kar
Eid is a celebration of joy, love, and togetherness, yet it also reminds us of memories and missing loved ones. Even if some faces are absent and hearts feel a little heavy, the spirit of Eid brings hope, blessings, and new beginnings. Har Eid apni khushiyan aur yaadon ke saath aati hai, aur hum phir se muskurate hain, duaon ke saath aur pyar ke saath is khubsurat din ko manate hain.
